Company description

We are a family-owned and operated business that has specialized exclusively in area rug care since 1912. For over a century and through four generations, we’ve built a reputation for unmatched quality in the washing, restoration, and preservation of both Oriental and domestic rugs — all handled in our dedicated in-plant facility. We do not clean wall-to-wall carpets or upholstery; our sole focus has always been exceptional rug care. Our comprehensive services include professional rug washing, odor removal, disinfecting, moth proofing, and sales of hand-made Oriental rugs and high-quality padding. We also provide expert fringing, serging, narrow and wide binding, altering, patching, reweaving, reinforcing, and a variety of custom repair and restoration solutions. At Tashjian’s, we combine time-honored techniques with generations of experience to deliver superior results for every rug we service.
