Orto Piazza is a hidden courtyard restaurant in Downtown Santa Monica, tucked behind one of the city's oldest buildings on 5th Street. Brick walls, a quiet water fountain, and open sky make it a secluded escape built for lingering — a golden-hour glass of wine or a dinner that runs late. The sister restaurant to Orto Santa Monica, Orto Piazza shares the same roots with a looser collar. Led by the Orto culinary team, the menu blends Italian tradition — handmade pasta made fresh daily, bruschetta, charcuterie, and wines by the glass — with contemporary American plates, built for sharing at a courtyard table. The courtyard is also available for private events and parties.
