Welcome to Cunard Tavern, your friendly East Boston gastropub. Located in Jeffries Point, we offer a vibrant late-night bar scene, twists on pub classics, a rooftop patio with city skyline views, deep whiskey reserves, and a constant rotation of craft beers.
Our menu features New England-inspired dishes with a global spin like octopus dumplings, Cuban spring rolls, harissa-braised short ribs, and potato waffles.
Cunard Tavern draws its brand and design inspiration from the rich nautical history of the East Boston Shipyard and the countless people whose search of the American Dream began when they first landed there. Second, only to Ellis Island, East Boston was the port of entry for many immigrants who came to shore in search of opportunity. From shipbuilders and carpenters to welders and longshoremen, we celebrate those who landed at Cunard Wharf and helped build this great neighborhood.
Since 2018, we've also partnered with renowned craft breweries to host our Cunard Tavern Beer Dinner “CTBD”. We serve five portions, paired with five brewery-exclusive beers, and a welcome cocktail. The courses involve a fusion of influences. All ingredients are sourced locally and arrive fresh daily.
