Chick Fill A

    Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A is an American fast food restaurant chain that is most known for their delicious chicken sandwiches. It is one of the first  popular fast food chains that did not offer any form of burgers to its customers. Now with over 2,200 locations worldwide the chain is leading all other chain restaurants in average sales per restaurant.

Almost every fast food chain offers some sort of chicken sandwich along with their other sandwich offerings. The sad thing is though, most of those restaurants only focus  making a profit and not on providing a high quality product. This is one of the reasons why Chick-fil-A has quickly gained popularity as it only provides high quality antibiotic free chicken.

    Hours and Locations

Unlike many other fast food chains, Chick-fil-A operates under a more restrictive  schedule. While they are open Monday through Saturday 6:30 am to 10:00pm, they do close on Sunday as they are a religious company. Most of the locations operate on this schedule but a few chains are on a different schedule, it is best to look up the store you are going to visit before you head out. It is also important to keep in mind regular operating times might differ on holidays like New Year's day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Good Friday and Black Friday. Hours.com is often used by people who are trying to find out if “there is a Chick-fil-A near me, that’s open today”.

    A Brief History

The chain’s origin can be traced back to one man, S. Truett Cathy, the former chairman and CEO of Chick-fil-A. He had spent more than 15 years in the fast food business before discovering a pressure-fryer could cook a chicken sandwich in the same amount of time as it could a regular hamburger. It was 1967, when he opened the first chain in a mall food court, setting the company up for a long run of success. Quickly more and more mall food courts began seeing the chicken chain pop up, as it gained a popular following with patrons of all ages. Fast forward nearly 40 years later and the fast food giant is now one of the most recognizable brands in the industry with more than 2,200 locations globally.
