Dr. Patel graduated from Drexel University with a degree in Biological Sciences prior to earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University. He then completed a rigorous, three-year surgical residency program at Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago where he served as chief resident. His training was focused on foot surgery in addition to reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Patel is dedicated to continually enhancing his expertise through ongoing professional development and participation in specialized courses and symposia. He is board-qualified in foot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery.
